Social Studies: Getting to know one another, listening to each other, looking at the person speaking,

and process information (use of displays, props, and dramatic play to visualize career professions).

Mathematics: Teacher demonstrations, presented handouts, and related materials.

​

Science: Wide variety of demonstrations, discussions; books and tapes are used to demonstrate science concepts.

​

Used: Investigation, identification, observation, description, comparing, collecting information and some experimentations.

​

Art: Dramatic play, music, and physical education.

Outside recess and playtime

Lunch time, bathroom time, and preparation for quiet time.

Structured Activities: Students complete unfinished academic projects, computer activities, art project and music.

Quiet Time: Reading books, coloring and sharing the day’s event.

Preparation for Departure: Returning material to proper places and clean up.
